Aspen Summer Adventure

Date: June 6th-11, 2026

Location: Aspen, Colorado

Join the Shining Stars Foundation for a week in Aspen! 6-day program for children ages 8-14 facing cancer or another life-threatening illness. The program is designed to foster new relationships between participants, while giving them challenging and unique experiences. Activities include outdoor education, rafting, arts & crafts, fishing, horseback riding, cooking lessons, sports, and more!

Young Adult Lake Day

Date: June 26th | 1:00-4:00pm

Location: Chatfield Gravel Ponds- Littleton, CO

This young adult meet- up is a great opportunity to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and connect with others in a laid-back, outdoor setting. Whether you want to paddle board, kayak, or just soak up the summer vibes, we’d love to have you there! This event is in partnership with National Sports Center for the Disabled, which provides adaptive accommodations so everyone can comfortably enjoy the experience! Spots are limited!

grand County Family Adventure

Date: July 19-23, 2026

Location: Grand County, Colorado - YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch

Join the Shining Stars Foundation for a week of family fun! A 5-day summertime adventure offered to the children we serve and their entire immediate family. Activities include boating, hiking, rafting, fishing, a day at Winter Park Resort, roller skating, games, and much more. This program has become one of our largest, as we cater to 150+ children and family members from across the country.
