Nancy’s 70 for 70!
In honor of my 70th birthday, I'm raising funds for a charity that is incredibly close to my heart, the Shining Stars Foundation, which I have proudly supported for more than 15 years. Instead of gifts, I hope you'll consider joining me in making a difference. To help maximize the impact, we will personally match every donation up to $35,000, with the hope of raising a total of $70,000 together.
For over 25 years, Shining Stars has empowered and supported children with cancer, young adult survivors, and their families through recreational and social programs that foster hope, connection, and healing. Since its founding, Shining Stars has served more than 1,300 pediatric cancer patients and 5,500 family members from 26 hospitals across 26 states. Each year, we offer 70+ days of programming filled with life-changing experiences such as adaptive skiing, snowmobiling, rafting, biking, swimming, hiking, and more!
Programs are under the medical direction of former Children's Hospital Colorado Chief of Neurosurgery Dr. Larry McCleary, alongside Founder and CEO Kathy Gingery, who has dedicated more than 40 years to creating life-changing recreational experiences for children.

Funds raised will help send pediatric cancer patients from Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago to the Aspen Winter Games Program and/or our two overnight family camps.
