Thanks to the generosity of long time supporter, Mike Dawson and Marnie McConaghy the Shining Stars have been invited in past years to participate in a dream trip of a lifetime--a week long outdoor sailing adventure for the children and medical staff. Departing from Tortola the group explores the British Virgin Islands where they dock and sleep on board the 55 foot Catamaran. The group learns to snorkel, some swim for the first time, kayak, fish, explore beaches, learn about the stars, constellations, and the colorful native culture linked to these unique islands.
