Outreach Programs

Every month, the Foundation strives to host reunion events, weekend retreats or day sporting events for children who have attended the Winter Games and their families.

These programs help to foster a support network for families, who often face significant social, financial, and psychological challenges after a child is diagnosed with cancer.

Shining Stars reunions are open to mothers, fathers, siblings, grandparents and members of the extended family, so that each may learn from one another’s stories of pain and triumph.
