Shining Stars Ambassador Program
Paul, 2009 SnowballThis program is designed for children under the age of 15 who have attended a Winter Games Week but are too young to take on the responsibilities expected of the Senior Shining Stars such as leading programs and mentoring new Shining Stars. Shining Stars Ambassadors are the next generation of Seniors who help carry out the mission of the organization. As an Ambassador, these special children are asked to attend Shining Stars events and fundraisers. They are also asked to call prospective Shining Stars to discuss any fears, concerns or questions they may have about attending Winter Games. As they become more comfortable with public speaking and articulating the message they are able to spread the hope to other children facing the challenges their illness presents.
We also have some older Shining Stars who feel the need to give back and support the cause of our organization so they serve as Ambassadors at our fundraisers and share with the public what the Shining Stars Foundation means to them.
